How to improve a zwave network?
In short there is nothing that you can do to improve your z wave network, there are a few reasons for this and also a couple of things you can do that might actually impact it.
The first thing to know is that the network is a learning one. It is constantly looking at the traffic on the z wave network and seeing how best to optimise it and ensure it flows faster and more reliably. As such the biggest impact is if you make changes to your house or the network itself.
i.e. If you replace thin doors with thicker ones then the network will have to adjust to this change
or
You remove devices or unplug a plug that is z wave enabled. In doing this you have changed the actual network and so devices might not work and the network will have to adjust to compensate for this.
We understand this and when designing your network we build this in and then let the system monitor and optimise itself over time, whilst checking it as required.
An interesting article about this is the one below.
