Adjusting the length of time the touch screen remains on after waking
After waking the touch screen either by tapping the screen or when you approach it (providing wake with motion is active)—it will stay on for a set number of seconds before going back to sleep. This helps preserve the screen and battery life, and ensures it doesn’t overheat. You can adjust this time yourself by following these steps:
Using the Home Assistant mobile APP
Open the Home Assistant APP on your phone
Click the menu

icon top left and select the "Settings" tab
- Click the tablet icon
- Screen Awake Time: Select the preferred time
Using the Touch Screen
Press and hold the Nifty icon on the screen to access the settings.
