What is the difference between z wave and Wifi?

Both Z wave and Wifi use wireless waves to communicate with devices but there are some fundamental differences that we need to understand. In its simplest terms a z wave network will allow your IoT devices to communicate with each other over the z wave mesh and without using your wifi network. What this means is that the IoT traffic is separate from your daily network traffic and so doesn't impede it.
