Can I control my house if the system is turned off or is faulty?

Manual switches

You can always control your home without smart features. Light switches will still turn lights on and off, and thermostats will continue to regulate heating manually. Even if the internet is down or the Nifty Brain hub is off or faulty, you can still operate everything the traditional way.

No Wi-Fi

The Nifty Brain connects to smart light switches and thermostats using its own dedicated network, Zigbee and Z-Wave, independent of your Wi-Fi. This ensures that scheduled lighting and heating will continue to function even if your Wi-Fi or internet goes down.

Wi-Fi without Internet

This means you can control your home using your mobile phone as long as you are connected to your Wi-Fi inside your home. However, voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home won’t work since they require an internet connection. Additionally, features in the app that rely on online data, such as weather reports, will not function.
