Switches

The most common type of light control is a simple on/off switch. These can be displayed in different ways:

1) A button

This will feature a room icon at the top and the name below. When the light is on, the icon changes colour, for example, the lounge light is on in the image below.


2) Toggle switch

Dimmers

If your property has dimmable lights, they will be displayed and controlled as shown below.

1) Slider


Tap the circular icon to turn on or touch the bar at your desired level




Slide the bar up or down to set the desired level.

Notes
Note that setting the brightness to 50% does not necessarily mean the lights will appear half as bright. This is because the light switches are designed to accommodate various bulb types and quantities, making the percentage an estimate. Over time, you’ll learn the brightness levels that work best for you.
