Control your heating using the APP or touch screen

Notes
Firstly, it is important to note that the app is customised for each home, meaning the interface may vary from what is shown in the images. However, we strive to maintain a consistent layout and logic to ensure a familiar experience for all users.

Introduction

Just like lights, heaters can be controlled in different ways. However, before exploring the controls, it’s helpful to understand how they work—so let’s dive in.

Firstly, all thermostats can be turned on or off. When set to off, the heaters remain off. However, if the thermostat is on, it does not necessarily mean the heaters are running. The heaters will only activate if the thermostat’s set temperature (known as the target temperature) is higher than the room’s current temperature. Once a target temperature is set, the heaters will cycle on and off to maintain the desired level, turning on when the current temperature drops below the target and off when it exceeds it.”

The app displays three possible thermostat states:

  1. idle (off) =
(Heater is IDLE) & (thermostat is OFF) - Everything is OFF and won't come on automatically. Usually set while you are away.

  2. idle (heat) =
(Heater is IDLE) & (thermostat ON) - Heater is OFF as the set TARGET temperature is BELOW the CURRENT room temperature.

  3. heating (heat) =
(Heater is HEATING) & (thermostat is ON) - Heater is ON as the set TARGET temperature is ABOVE the CURRENT room temperature.
