Setting heating schedules (step-by-step)

Setting heating schedules (step-by-step)

Important information

Thermostat Manual Mode

For the heaters to function, the thermostat must be set to manual mode, indicated by a small hand icon when powered on. If it is not in manual mode, press the bottom-right button until the hand icon appears.

Customisable Scheduling

You can configure the heating to turn on and off as many times as needed throughout the day. The app allows you to create unique schedules for each day or set separate schedules for weekdays and weekends. The process is simple and flexible, letting you control the heaters exactly as you prefer.

Scheduling Methods

You can set up your heating schedule using two methods:
  1. Basic Scheduling – Set individual ON and OFF times to customise when the heating operates.
  2. Full-Day Scheduling – Use an intuitive interface to create a detailed schedule for the entire day, offering greater control over heating times.
The following sections explain these methods in more detail.

Basic Scheduling

  1. Click the 'Menu' icon to reveal the sections
  2. Click 'Settings'

  1. Click the 'Home Timer' icon at the top
  1. Select a heater or check the 'Multiple' switch if you want to select more than one heater.

  1. Select HEAT to schedule the heater to turn ON, then click NEXT.
  1. Set your desired target TEMPERATURE
Then choose when it should apply:
    1. DAILY: Turns on every day
    2. WORKDAYS: Turns on Monday to Friday only
    3. WEEKEND: Turns on Saturday and Sunday
    4. CUSTOM: Pick specific days, like Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays
  2. Set the time and click SAVE
Notes
Note: You can use the moon/sun icon to schedule heating to turn on or off relative to sunrise or sunset. This feature is typically used for blinds and lighting schedules, as it allows the sun to control the timing automatically.

  1. Click the OPTIONS section:
    1. CONDITION: You can ignore this — it’s not relevant here.
    2. PERIOD: Use this if you want the timer to be active only during a specific time, like winter or school holidays.
    3. NAME: Give your timer a clear name. If you leave the default name, it can become confusing when you have multiple timers.
    4. TAG: You can ignore this.
    5. BEHAVIOUR: This controls what happens after the set period. Leave it on Repeat — you can easily turn it on or off on the next screen.
  2. Once you’re done, click SAVE.

  1. You’ll now see a list of schedules, which you can turn on or off as needed.

  1. Now that you’ve set a timer to turn the heater on, you can follow a similar process to set it to turn off.
  1. Simply select as usual, but this time click TURN OFF instead of HEAT, then follow the same steps to choose the time and options.
